First I thought: opps, quite a price for something I could get with a command like du. But I was wrong ! The tool really gives an easy to understand view and convenient way to navigate on your disk and allow to see where you maybe waste storage. I found some GB I will copy over to my NAS and remove from the disk. Really a little gem; worth the money.

This was a great app. Although I am expecting to see an update that improves the graphic in retina display.

AppStore版とダウンロード版があるようです。 さらに、配布アプリケーションの規約があって、AppStore版は機能が制限されているようです。 ところで、AppStore版では、Scanボタンが表示されないのですが、どうすればいいのでしょう？ Drop DIsk or Folder to the window to scan it.というメッセージが表示されて、ダウンロード版にあるScanボタンがなくなっています。 Macintosh HDアイコンを表示させた上で、このWindowにドラグドロップさせればScan結果が表示されます。 でも、デフォルトではこのアイコンは非表示ですよね。まだMAC使い始めて間がないのでどうやれば表示出来るのかずいぶん探しました。 せっかく８５０円も払ったのに機能制限はあるし、これならはじめからダウンロード版にすれば良かった。

配布アプリケーションに縛りがあるので、たしかにAppStore版は機能が制限されています。 ですが、無料アプリとは違い有料のアプリであることをきちんと考慮に入れてあるのか、 いったん、AppStore版を購入し削除したあとダウンロード版をダウンロードするだけで、 「DaisyDisk has detected and applied your Mac App Store purchase receipt.」 （DaisyDiskが検出され、お使いのMac App Storeの購入時の領収書を適用しております。）Google翻訳 と表示されダウンロード版そのまま使うことができるようになっています。 とても良心的な対応だと感心しました。 そういった点も含めて☆を5つとさせていただきます。

I eliminated many folders. I hope everything works. The manual was not very clear about the actual manipulation of the program. Maybe I should have looked on itunes.

This is a great app showing how much i am using my disks. It took me only 10 minutes and I already cleaned up more than 40GB useless files. Just one request - can you add multiselection when dragging files to collected files? Sometimes I want to delete quite many files in one folder (but not all in the folder) and I have to drag them one by one. Anyway, thank you!

if youre struggling to manage 9 TB of audio or video data spreadded over HDDs as me, If you want to know what are that unnecessary stuff that eats up your precious HD space, beleive me that the DaisyDisk will become your everyday tool. Sometimes I use it as the replacement of the Spotlight cause Im getting much more data.

Very nice tool for some serious housekeeping. I gave it 4/5 stars because it caused a hang. A very nice touch is that it won’t delete files that are used by Mac OS X. Best.

Its one on the excamples when great idea makes great software. It is the best tool that helps to find and clean data storaged on your hard drive. I miss only one thing. There should be possibility to select multiple objects to drag them for delete. Maybe some checkbox on the left side of element to delete? Great job developement team :)

Its ok. But in my opinion WhatSize is much better.

Very useful and pretty application, but version 2.1.1 is not fully Retina ready. The main graph displays well, but text is still in low-res and looks ugly. I hope the app will get an upgrade soon and then it will deserve 5 stars.

Purchased and tried to use. Nice looking app. But refuse to clean up (delete) anything - from music to problem reports. Deletion takes long time and … deletes nothing.

Looks nice, works surprisingly fast, very useful. Love it!

With this software i can very fast detect huge and unwanted files. But some time files have outer privileges (root and etc). In this case software has pass to delete this files (i have only message with list not deleted files). Guys, why you not make deleting via prompt window with username and password in this case? Its very needed feature!
