As many have said before, the interface is very nice and it gets the job done. Thanks for helping me find over 30GB of cached data I didnt need. Performance has been better since. To be honest, I would not have paid $19.99; $9.99 is a much more appropriate and agreeable price.

Amazing app, takes about 2 mins to orient yourself. After that youll be saving tons of time hunting down all those errant files and folders that are soaking up all your disk space. A must have, especially if you find yourself running out of capacity.

I used to use the free software Grand Perspective… however I like this app much better. The navigation and drill-down is easy to use, and I like the ability to collect the blocks of files for deletion.

Looks great and gives me a handle on my storage. It really helps that it is easy on the eyes and functional. As a photographer, it checks off a lot of boxes for me.

Very pretty but useless.

I hope that DaisyDisk includes the feature of deleting applications completely. For example, when I want to delete an application, not only do I want to delete its files in Application Folder, but also Id like to clear all the relating information. Some other software provides this feature, such as AppZapper, CleanMyMac, etc. But I dont want to use 2 softwares when I delete a single App. Thanks!

This app is very useful, I got 50GB more space! I finally found a solution to get more space on my small 128GB SSD of my MBA. It could be less expensive, but other that that, this app is amazing!

Makes a very nice graph of whatever you point it at and tell it to measure. Very easy to undersand and read so that you can tell just where all your disc space went (usually large iTunes collections!!) in a few simple steps! Great app that feels very much a part of the OS.

Going from 1TB down to 256GB or 128GB is a complete change in how I store my files. It’s really easy to fill up small spaces with podcasts, tv episodes, or other disposable & re-downloadable media. DaisyDisk really helps me see where all my space went to and lets me deal with it all in one spot.

Went to the Apple store two different times, only to be told a Tech was busy and i couldn’t be seen. I was then told to download this app as it will help me. I had over 56 gb of ‘other’ files that showed in my system and i couldn’t find them anywhere, i’ve had this app for 10 minutes and already have removed all the issue files, and my macbook air now has the room I need to do my work!!!!

I upgraded my 2011 MacBook Pro with a 256GB SSD and while the speed is great having half the original disk space presents its own challenges. Daisy Disk makes it incredibly easy to see what is filling the drive and delete and recover the wasted space. I heard about it on the Mac Power Users podcast and it is yet another great app by another great software developer. I highly recommend it for powerful utility and easy of use.

I had over 110gb in “other” and no visible file that I could find or attribute the space to I was losing it. After trying a few free and cheap disk cleaners, I dwlded DaisyDisk after finding it listed as an excellent resource on a few blog lists. It found the culprit (an Adobe Updater!) quickly and I had my space back in no time. In addition, the breakdown is fantastic and even after solving my problematic space issue I’ve used it to keep documents and files in check. Awesome program. Highly recommend.

Having the intertwining circles is an exellent visual concept. This app makes managing my ever increasing amount files- videos, books, music- a breeze. Deleting old files to make space is also straightforward since the app lists files by size. Please add fullsceen support! It’s not a huge deal, however fullsceen in Yosemite w this app could be better.

This app is simple to use and allows you to view the size and location of every file on the selected drive. I have an SSD so space is limite. With DaisyDisk I’m able to keep an eye on folders that swell with unused files that I can delete within the app. The user interface is amazing, so simple to understand and very professional. This app is well worth the cost, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been using DaisyDisk for years, and it’s no mystery why: Daisy makes it (dare I say?) fun and easy to navigate your complex Mac structures and zero in precisely on problem areas. Perfect for pros and beginners alike! I’d give it 6 stars, if I could.

The BEST APP

Although there are lots of other apps that do this, This one has been kept Simple, Colorful and easy to use. Definitely recommend.

I do not usually write reviews, but I had to for this beautiful utility. It uses drill down methodology which is an excellent and simple approach to find what you are looking for without being overloaded with a lot of information. The user interface is gotgeous and intuitive. As I navigated the drill down list, the graphical display was updated with gorgeous animation. I did a lot of manual cleanup myself. But this tool uncovered things that I did not even know they existed. Very well done, I love it!

I’ve been using Daisy Disk since version 3 and it’s been very useful. I love the way it visualizes your data and makes it easy to find out what is taking up space on your drive.
