What happen with size of app? Why it’s so huge now? I can’t resize to smaller size :(

Daisydisk has always been really useful for seeing what was using your disk, but used to be painfully slow to scan even fast SSDs. No longer! My almost-full 1TB SSD completes its scan in just a few seconds, which totally eliminates any reluctance to launch the app.

It’s the first time I used an application such as this and I must admit I’m quite impressed at how easy it is to navigate and find files that are simply taking space for no good reason. Beats having to use the console to search for useless files.

This app does its job rapidly and is easy to use. If your available disk space is shrinking and you can’t seem to find and delete space hogging files, or the process is taking too long, this is probably the app you’re looking for.

Easily one of my most used utilities, especially on older Macs where space-saving becomes more of a priority.

I didn’t realize how cluttered my disks were, nor how easy it would be to clean them, until I found DaisyDisk.

Some apps ’just get it right’! This is one of them. Great UI that is dead-nuts-simple to understand, yet is extremely powerful Highly recommended to reclaim disk space!

I wanted to replace a hard disk with an SSD in my Mac mini. By using Daisy Disk first, I was able to get my disk usage down from 600GB down to under 400GB. Now Ill save a lot of money by buying a 500GB SSD instead of a 1TB SSD! Thank you, Daisy Disk!

Hands down the best way to manage space on your mac. Easy to use, intuitive, cheap, and aesthetically pleasing. You know that when something makes managing your files fun, it’s a keeper. I’ve saved a lot of time with this app for 10CAD.

I have tried a whole bunch of these disk space viewing apps and this is the only one which I was able to figure out immediately what was cauing my disk to fill up.

I run a small solid state hardrive on my personal computer so data managment is crucial. DaisyDisk provides an easy and enjoyable interface to analyze and identify and unecessary file on my computer, and helps with tracking syncing programs like Dropbox that might be eating up large parts of my hard drive unecesarily. HIGHLY recommend this app for managing your hardrive.

This app only tells you the file and folder size of what you have on your disk. But you have to choose one by one to delete. It does not tell you of any duplicates, ghost and dead files. It does not defragment disk nor does it tidy up and organise your disk in the traditional sense. This app is not a disk cleaner! At best, it is only a disk profiler.

75 GB demolished in mere seconds out of the 144GB taking up space as “other” files. Discovered this app after a long day of searching online, manually cleaning up files and dissecting my SSD for some answers. WORTH. EVERY. CENT. Now I can get onto other more important projects!

Of all the applications I use I find this one to be the most pleasant to use. Great user interface, shows everything on your disk and is very helpful. I highly recommend it.

Love this app. 1st of all, it looks great. 2nd, its very effective for locating exactly where on the HDD space is being taken up. Whenever I need to recover disk space I run Daisy Disk. Much much easier than using Finder, for example.
