Brilliant and useful but overpriced
The way the data is presented is, quite simply, jaw-dropping brilliant. I can see everything, all at once, with a very clear understanding of how files are related to their subfolders. And it works with internal and external drives. I was able to use it to get rid of 6 GB of forgotten junk on a USB flash stick, and it helps me see what’s going on in my MacBook Air.
That said, it has basically two functions: (1) showing you the contents of drives and folders and (2) deleting things. In my opinion, that’s not enough to justify a $10 price. $5 is more reasonable.
Because of the security restrictions imposed on Mac App Store apps, this version can’t find a lot of the trickier hidden stuff. The separate version, downloaded from the website, can. If you purchase this version, the other version will automatically detect your App Store purchase receipt and unlock itself.
