Essential for anybody with finite disk space

I never write reviews, but I was using DaisyDisk today (I’ve had it for a few years), and thought, “This is a truly awesome app that deserves praise.”

And it is, and it does. If your disk is mostly full, DaisyDisk is the simplest way to look at what’s actually taking up space. No more trashing caches to hope you get some space back or checking the size of every folder by hand. Scan your whole hard drive (or external!) and you get a beautiful, intuitively interactive visualization of what’s in your space. Roll over to get details, click to zoom in, and drag and drop to collect files. Pitch what’s useless and take control of your hard drive again.

DaisyDisk does exactly what it should; no more and no less. There’s no learning curve, takes up almost no space (2.7 MB, as it can tell you), and is so pretty and smooth that it will make you smile. Few applications work so well. Heartily recommended.
